The
potential customer should understand that the above guidelines
will be firmly agreed upon by both prior to any work commencement.
These prices also only reflect the actual cost of the engraving
on the firearms. Other fees will be incurred unless you, the
customer, have the ability to accomplish certain functions
yourself or have resources on which you can rely for these
services.
The
firearm may be engraved on the original finish. Some prefer
to have their firearms refinished upon completion of the engraving
process and in those instances, the firearms must be devoid
of finish and prepared for refinish prior to engraving. If
you wish to contract that process that is agreeable, however
if I accomplish this function there will be an additional
charge.
In
all cases, the firearm must be disassembled prior to engraving.
You may accomplish this yourself, or I will do it upon receipt
of the firearm. There will be a charge for this service as
the firearm will be disassembled, reassembled, and test fired
for function and POA upon completion of the job. I have access
to an excellent dealer and gunsmith in my area who will receipt
the firearm so that any shipping will occur to and from a
FFL holder.
